ANNOUNCEMENT regarding the Reception and Management of Ship Waste Ports responsibility D.L.T. Game
According to the relevant (a) Joint Ministerial Decision (CMD) and the relevant (b) Decision of the Minister of Health and Safety, the new Ship Waste Collection and Management Plan of the Ports of our responsibility, approved by the aforementioned Ministry, has been activated, which will must be implemented in order (among others) to prevent illegal dumping of waste at sea.
For this reason, tanks will be placed to collect liquid waste from small ships and boats, while larger quantities will be collected directly from the ship or boat.
Each vessel to deliver waste should follow the prescribed procedures as detailed in the attached file.
